IronWeave — Custom Blocks + Categories
Unlimited Scale
Unlimited interacting blockchains interacting at 1,600,000+ transactions per second, per managed node. Unlimited managed nodes.
Unmatched Security
Unique, ultra-secure encryption applies to each blockchain, and each shared block. Each block is encrypted with its own unique keys.
Infinite Flexibility
Block sizes and types can be customized as needed, in size and content. Create custom blocks, or entire categories to match industry, process, operations.
Infinite Flexibility for blocks and chains
Custom Blocks + Categories
Another advantage of IronWeave’s independent blockchains architecture is its flexibility. With IronWeave, you can create custom blocks, custom block types, and entire customized block categories.
Since an interaction between two or more IronWeave blockchains creates a block shared only among those participants, IronWeave blocks aren’t required to always be the same size or composition. One block can be small, another large, the next any size required. It’s like grabbing the right box for shipping an item from a warehouse to a customer – use the box that best fits what goes inside.
This flexibility enables IronWeave to integrate with existing standards. For example, if your Industrial IoT device conforms to an ISO standard that sends 89 bytes of payload with each sensor event, you could create a custom block type called ISO-IIOT-30166 with a payload of 89 bytes, include metadata in the block header, and create consistent blocks in IronWeave for all such devices, ready for analysis.

Categories to match industry, commerce, processes
IronWeave can also define data categories for blocks. For example, you could define a block category that maps to standardized medical procedure codes, and automatically catalog all patient interactions with the codes your systems already use. You could get privacy, compliance, automated patient record creation insurance and billing, all in an immutable and secure record. All ready for compliance, and analytics.
IronWeave is building a catalog block types and standardized block categories that reflect standards from multiple industries, to make implementing IronWeave solutions easy and friction-free.

Comparisons to other blockchains
Monolithic blockchains, such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, Corda and others, generally rely on a single block type. Many transactions are packed into a single block, requiring you to parse large blocks to find your information and extract it from there.
IronWeave gives you the flexibility to create any type of block, each with a single interaction, a large collection of transactions, or any combination thereof. You can create custom block types of any size, create a block on the fly, or choose standard blocks or categories to make implementing and using IronWeave more efficient, standardized, and usable.
